Control equipment with proprietary software

The entire range has integrated control equipment with software developed by us. We use Siemens Climatix hardware. The control equipment gives you over 100 standard features to choose from so that you can optimise according to your needs. Air flow rates and temperatures can be optimised simply. The units can be connected to the Internet, IV Produkt Cloud or parent system (BMS) via most communication protocols.

Project-specific electricity and control schedules included in the delivery. The unit has been function-tested and is ready to be commissioned.

Energy Watch gives you control over your kilowatt hours!

We offer an option to help you stay in control of your kilowatt hours in the form of our proprietary Energy Watch function. Energy Watch is a unique function for monitoring and optimising the energy consumption in the air handling unit. You can easily see the meter values and information in the hand-held terminal or in a parent system.

New hand-held terminal with touchscreen

A new hand-held terminal with touchscreen is now available as an option. The 7 inch screen provides a clear overview of the air handing unit's set points and parameters, which simplifies operation and troubleshooting. Getting started is easy thanks to a quick connection and an interface that is recognisable from other applications. With the hand-held terminal, you get access to the complete functionality of the unit which helps you save energy and create a good indoor climate.

If you have multiple units in the same building, you can control and monitor them from the same hand-held terminal by connecting to the building's local network. With the remote service IV Produkt Cloud, you can also access air handling units in other locations, via the internet.

The new hand-held terminal with touchscreen is available as an option for the Envistar range from 2019 and for EcoHeater from 2021. A software update may be required.

Pleasant indoor climate with integrated cooling

The range is available with an integrated cooling unit, which creates a complete solution for ventilation and cooling. This simple approach to installation means you will not need a refrigerant unit on the roof. Integrated cooling units also use a lot less energy than external cooling units. They provide a complete CE-marked cooling installation, that is always test-run and function-tested before shipping.

EcoCooler

EcoCooler is the optimal cooling unit for Envistar Flex. In some buildings, air flow varies greatly while requirements for accurate control of the supply air temperature remain strict. EcoCooler meets the requirements through stepless control of the cooling power via a frequency inverter.

Through product development, we are constantly improving energy optimisation in our air handling units. As part of this work, the range has been fitted with well-designed casing with a good fit and high energy performance.

Doors and panels are manufactured in double sheet metal construction of aluminium/steel zinc-treated steel sheeting with ALC protective coating, which complies with the requirements for corrosion class C4. Some parts of the unit can be manufactured in different materials, e.g. stainless steel 2343.

The product selection program IV Produkt Designer offers the option to choose cabinets and panels in fire class IE30.

Innovative solutions mean we can offer units with very low heat loss. According to the EN 1886 standard, the classification of the casing is determined by the U value. The lower the number, the better the insulation capacity.

ThermoLine

Multiple versions of the casing are available. The standard version is classified under casing class T3, which has a U value of 1.24*. For the best energy performance, you can now also choose ThermoLine, which is a class T2 casing and has a U value of 0.88*.

A casing class of T2 reduces cold bridges. In fan rooms with high air humidity, this reduces the risk of condensation forming on the unit casing.

The black plastic insert in the profile breaks the cold bridge and is characteristic of the ThermoLine – T2 casing.

We protect resources

Air that is extracted via ventilation systems often contains a lot of heat. We do not want to let this heat go to waste and aim to recover as much of it as possible. We do this by using various types of heat exchanger. We recover the heat from the extract air and use it to heat the cold air from outside.

Various models of high-efficiency heat recovery units are available for the unit. The below heat recovery units are available for this particular unit. This allows us to offer the most optimal solution at the same time as protecting the Earth’s resources.

Optimised performance

The series is available with a wide selection of direct-driven fans and motors in order to optimise the efficiency of the fans and minimise electricity consumption. Each fan impeller and motor is balanced and test-run together to guarantee function, ensuring a long service life.

The direct-driven fans are intended for variable speed control. Fan impellers have airfoil blades and rotating diffusers, which gives low noise and high efficiency.

Simplified installations with integrated reversible heat pump

The range is available with the integrated reversible heat pump ThermoCooler HP. Since the installation for heating ventilation air and comfort cooling is all integrated in the air handling unit, there is generally no need for frost coils, pump sets or dry coolers. This means one supplier and one contact.
